I AM NEVER GOING BACK TO PADS OR TAMPONS!!!! Size 18 Target jeans and a 4x was a little tight around the legs and a little loose on my belly upon first 30 seconds of wear (even after an accidental dryer drying) and then INSTANT comfort. I am not kidding. I contacted Farozia to see what other styles they suggested and received 100% perfect picks for my body type! I seriously cannot rave enough about them! Plus they are sooooo much more affordable and sturdy than the competition companies I've bought from. One pair about the cost of a good Pad or Tampon pack, but with 0 pain, discomfort, chemicals, or landfill waste. It's truly a no brainer- anything that makes a period comfortable AND all that!
If you’re on the fence, go for this! Add them to your cart right now. I typically have horribly heavy and uncomfortable periods. The kind that knock me out of commission for at least a day and a half of completely dragging ass and being in so much pain. These underwear are seriously life changing. First off, I’m not sure how they hold the amount of liquid they hold, but I’m not complaining at all!! Also, since I have no tampon or cup in, my cramps are SO much better. This is probably the most life changing part for me. It’s basically business as usual, other than the hesitancy of trusting them at first. Definitely a different feeling letting it fall free, if you know what I mean! First time I wore them, I pushed the limit a bit to see what they were made of. The longest I lasted was about 8 hours, and that included some physical activity (slinging the lacrosse balls around with my husband and kids). I had zero leaks. In fact, it really wasn’t even that messy during between cleanups as I used the toilet. That’s saying something, especially since (not to be graphic, but...) I typically go through a tampon every two hours my first two days. Like I said- not sure where it’s keeping all this liquid but it was very absorbent and no leaking. Something of note: I have several styles of this brand (lace, hipster sporty, high waisted overnight) and they all live up to the hype. There are two kinds though, so be aware- the absorbent/overnight ones are like regular to supers (for heavy bleeding), the leakproof ones are meant for lighter duty like a liner/thin pad or light tampon (light days). Also, they dry slowly and it’s not recommended to dry them other than on tumble dry or hang drying, so have enough for changes without being able to immediately rotate them.
These are absolutely amazing! I had been finding myself getting yeast infections with tampons and I think pad smell really bad. Also I wanted a more sustainable option. So I tried a couple cups but they all leaked really bad, might just be my messed up cervix. The idea of bleeding into underwear grossed me out a little but I was at the point where I dreaded my period and was willing to try anything. I have a pretty heavy flow, like new tampon or pad every hour or two on the first two days. These underwear I only had to change twice during the day, honestly they probably could have lasted longer. That is like four times longer than a tampon for me. Amazing at night no leaks at all. And they breath fairly well and I have not had a yeast infection since these. I decided to put them to the test of everything. They were great for chasing kids, lifting weights and yoga. I've always struggled with period products and yoga, but these underwear made it through! Also the period smell is almost non-existent. I mostly handwash them and hang dry, or machine wash and hang dry. Though my husband accidentally but them in the dryer a couple times and they were fine. I think that's more of a longevity thing. I love these so much and would hate to say the con but there are some irritating things. The fit is a little odd... I have a much larger butt than waisted so like most underwear they were a little loose on my waist and super tight on my butt. But what really got me was how tight they were on my thighs. They were very odd fitting and I would probably not buy them if they were just normal underwear. I image that the tight fit is so it doesn't leak though. The last thing I found irritating is how long they take to hang dry. Like two full days... Now it is winter in idaho so maybe I'll have better luck in the summer but if I use two during the day and one at night and have to wait two full days for them to dry I really need like 6-9 pairs. So that's a little annoying. But overall I love them! Buy them you will not regret it!
Size - I wear a size 10 or 28/29 in pants and the large fit best. Rise - The top of the underwear comes about 2 inches below my bellybutton. Use - I use these more for backup when I use cups/tampons, so I haven't put it to the absorbency test yet. Fit - The leg holes are pretty tight, you can almost see the cut of the underwear in the front under my skinny jeans. Fabric - Very soft, unfortunately the pair I ordered came with a hole on the side, but still keeping them and customer service sent me another one for free. Overall, they're cheaper than Thinx and I like the fit of these better than bikini/low rise underwear.
I’ve worn these through 2 cycles now, and I have to say I would’t repurchase. I’m solidly within their size range, but these are smaller than expected. Let’s start with the positives first. I haven’t had any problems with leakage They absorb fast They don’t smell They launder easily Now the cons The waistband elastic is thin, and the waistband rolls These claim to be high waisted, but they’re more of a bikini cut. They come up about two fingers below my belly button. Because of the cut these aren’t ideal for tummy or back sleepers as the leakproof material doesn’t go all the way to the waistband in the back, nor does it go very high in the front.
I was super skeptical about these (especially that company that sells similar undies at 3x the price) I am one of those "irregularities." You know the statistics saying the "average" period is 2 tablespoons? I am a 1 cup woman. Which is 8x the "average" figure. I didn't buy these for light days like most people. I bought these for the first day of my period, when I am stuck in bed, writhing and screaming, and cannot get up because of the pain. I thought it'd be very convenient to not have to keep getting up to change pads as my insides tear themselves apart. My first day of my period is so painful and debilitating, I have attempted "free bleed" by covering my bed with towels. And I am happy to say, after spending the past 8 hours in agonizing pain, these panties have not leaked into my bed at all. Normally on a day like this, I would have gone through about 6 "overnight" pads, and accidentally leaked all into my bed despite all the changing, and probably had blood up my *ss crack and up my back. I can take these off and feel certain all the blood is in them and not sitting on my body. Also I'm happy to report the ibuprofen has finally started working, so I got out of bed to write this review. I ordered a size less than I normally would to minimize the chance of leaking. I have about a 38" butt measurement, and I ordered the small. So, for people using this for every day, I am certain you will be very pleased. I have a little "muffin top" of loose skin from weight loss, and it tucks it in very nicely and gives me a good shape. if I have to go out while on my period, I usually have to wear both a tampon and an overnight pad. As u guys know, the overnight pads come up your butt and you worry all day whether someone can see your pad through your clothes. As soon as I get enough money to buy another pack of these, I am never touching those hideous overnight pads again.
I have several pairs of these—same style, same size, some purchased individually, some purchased in the three pack. They work fabulously—even better than the more expensive brands and you can’t beat the price. However, the sizing of these is EXTREMELY inconsistent. Though all pairs I have are labeled the same size, some are so tight that they hurt my legs, and others are so loose that they fall down. The pairs that fit well are great, I just wish the sizing was more predictable.
Wow, just wow. I was curious about period underwear since my newsfeed was taken over by "THINX" ads. I was scared of the price so I ordered these instead. I agree with the reviews that say these are just as amazing if not BETTER than the expensive brands. My first weekend with them (sorry if this is too much) I was very curious on how well they worked. SO.... I was at home working all day and left them on for a heavy flow day. All day long. No leaks. Not even a wet feeling. I work out in them, I sleep in them, I snuggle my children in them. In fact, I was so confident in these I even wore them with light grey pants yesterday! I just went online to order another set because I don't want to have to wait for air drying anymore. BUY THEM!
So far, I love these! I ordered a 3 pack in size XL. I could likely fit a size large, but when I’m on my period, my hips and abdomen swell so much! I tend to need a larger size in everything during my period. With that said, these fit me perfectly! Just right around the waist and the leg holes aren’t tight or squeezing me! I plan on ordering at least another pair so I have a total of 4. I have worn these on day 3 of my period to sleep while also wearing a Diva Cup. I woke up with no leaks on undies or bedding.
I have really heavy periods. Bleeding through a huge thick overnight pad every hour. When I got these though, I was able to not worry for awhile. They hold up amazing! They could each hold me over for about 6-7 hours without me worrying. I didn't use any back up because unfortunately pads dont stick very well to this material but for using them by themselves they were awesome. Love them
I like the bamboo fabric and feel of these underwear. They are very comfortable. I am using these underwear for protection during my period and for protection from slight urinary leakage during working out. They hold plenty of liquid for my purposes and have not leaked. I would definitely order these again. They are at a great price point for the product. I own other brands of absorbent underwear and these compare at great quality and price. I would prefer some tummy control spandex in the fabric if more variations are introduced. I have bought affordable underwear like this in the past and they have had a bunching / rustling problem that these underwear do not have.
I cannot praise this product enough. They’re a game changer. Far more affordable than the bigger names out there, and superb quality.
I purchased these Farozia period panties for all-day use, not just overnight wear. I also purchased a pair of Thinx, and this performed as well if not better, and for a fraction of the price! Sizing: matched my standard underwear size. Comfort: breathable fabric that didn't make me sweat like pads do. Felt exactly like wearing a regular pair of underwear. Protection: Medium flow lady here. I typically changed pad/tampon every 2-3 hours on my heaviest day. I was able to wear one pair of these the entire day, changing to a new pair before bed. I will note that when I used the restroom, I did use some toilet paper to remove any fluid that I could to prolong the wearable time. If you've got a heavy flow, I would suggest changing partway through the day or starting out with a tampon/pad to give yourself some extra time to get home to change it. I never had any issues with leaking. This product stayed exactly where I needed it to, no shifting out of place and causing a mess. This was actually an issue I've had with my pair of Thinx, which is why I would rate this product over theirs.
I own 7 kinds of period panties. The Farozia period panties are my favorite!!!! They fit well and they absorb well. They compare to Thinx as far as absorbency. They possibly even hold more than my Thinx. I recommend them to anyone that is thinking of purchasing period panties. You get almost three pairs of these for the cost of one pair of Thinx.
I'm in between the M and L on the provided sizing chart. Since they stretch, I went with the M and they fit comfortably, don't look awful granny panties, AND I don't have to worry about a pad bunching up and staining my underwear or getting on my clothing. If you're squeamish about blood, stop reading now....... I deal with PCOS and endometriosis which make my periods HEAVY for the first 3-4 days. I ordered 2 pairs of these underwear and two pairs of the kind with the white waistband (from the same manufacturer). They absorbed better than a pad, were comfortable, and the top layer stayed dry. Amazing. I had been thinking about buying the really expensive version of these underwear (th*nx) but the price was ridiculous. These underwear do exactly what I need them to do for half the price. They are easy to hand wash and hang dry. I plan on ordering more. The stitching and waistband are solid and they don't bunch, don't ride up, and don't roll. They provide front and back coverage. They're literally perfect. If you're on the fence about these, I urge you to give them a try. They'll save you money (no pads or tampons needed, and you won't stain your regular underwear and have to replace them). When I ordered these, there were no other reviews on them. I took a chance and ordered them anyway and I'm glad I did. I was NOT paid to write this review and I was not given any incentive to write this review. The product truly is fantastic.
